A scarf is a scarf? Not necessary! I have proven this already within my best-liked outfit post of the year 2014. All the same counts for the little scarfs aka. bandanas. But let’s start from the beginning.

Recently, when the postman delivered me a parcel containing my pretty Pathos Diva Watch from Carl F. Bucherer and I unwrapped it joyfully, there was not only laying the just mentioned watch inside but also a silk scarf in warm pinky and gold tones. A scarf? I don’t wear – I don’t need! I eye it up doubtfully. Turn it. Tie it around my neck. Knot it in my hair. While I unconsciously fall in love with it. Deeply.

I’m desperate to knot it perfectly in my hair. Just like the ladies in the 50s. I fail. Miserably. Ok, Next try. Around the neck? Somehow too boring, somehow too standard. Got it! A belt it should be! Et voilà, today you see the outfit featuring my scarf as a belt with a the result of very strong french touch! Maybe also because of my new Loubs that you seem to love as well regarding your feedback on Instagram? Who knows.

Also. Wer weiss.

À bientôt mes belles.

  49. Those shoes look so sexy!

  50. Looking cute. You’ve actually made the best use out of the unexpected gift. I do the same thing all the time. Years ago (I mean years) when the Gucci Positano bag came out I purchased it right away. I didn’t fully examine the bag in the store. However once I got home I realize the scarf/tie closure was a full scarf. From then on I used the scarf as a belt, rolled it thin & used it as a headband and one time on an unexpected trip out to Montauk, I used it as a bandeau top. (not a good idea if you have a full chest). Love your way of thinking.

  51. Yes yes yes! Gonna try this scarf as belt thing for sure :)
