Happy sunday, peeps! I have spent my whole weekend in a cottage in the swiss mountains to get a little fitter. You might noticed on facebook that I have been sick since friday and tormented by terrible stomach ache. Therefor I have chosen to take some days off in a small village in the mountains where my boyfriends family owns a beautiful little (ok, not that little actually) chalet to relax and nothing can distract or stress me in any way. It was totally the right decision, feeling so calmed down now and full of new energy and motivation.
Now back to this actual post respectively the outfit which was built up with black and white garments only to create an elegant yet modern monochrome look. Before you ask about the post title… well, actually I’ve just chosen it because the high neck of my shirt reminded me so much of Karl and then the black/white ensemble and the big sunglasses…. the look in general literally screams Karl, doesn’t it. So dear Mr. Lagerfeld, if you ever read this: You’re a genius and I mean it! Since I’ve seen a TV docu about his life and work I have an even bigger respect for what you do and how you do it. How you think and how you act! Yes they are so many stupid (sorry, Karl) quotes we read in the magazines and newspapers… You probably already heard the latest one about the sweatpants. If not, here you go: “Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants”. But next to mindless quotes like this, there are many many good ones and the docu I have seen a few months back was showing the “real” Karl. At least I felt like it. He was truly so much different than he presents himself and how he get presented my the media. The never-smiling-Karl even smiled a few times and this made me seen him in a very different light. Positively, of course!
