Beside my passion for fashion, I’m also very keen on everything that has to do with aesthetics in general. Well, I’m working in a full time job as a graphic designer as some of you might already know, that’s probably the one big reason why everything has to be aesthetic what surrounds me. Believe me, this habit brings more disadvantages then benefits! I prefer to do everything on my own for instance because everything has to be perfect in my eyes and my brain don’t want to admit that others can do it as good as I do. It’s quite hard for me to hand over the reins of power, I’m kind of a control freak in many things. Want an example?
Hmmm alright, I’m thinking about getting tattooed since the age of 19 or even earlier. The actual causing why I still don’t have as tattoo is neither that I’m afraid of needles nor that I’m unsure about the subject. No, the actual causing is the fact that I’m afraid that I will not like it the way the tattooer will do it. It could be slightly to small/big, shifted from the place where I want it or just not perfectly perfectly done. Ok I’m digressing from the subject I actually wanted to write about: Photography!
Personally I find that Photography is very close-knit with fashion and the fashion industry. And it’s such a rewarding hobby for me as it somehow teaches you to pay attention to the small things. Your angle get’s automatically smaller and focuses on the important things while looking through the viewfinder of your camera. Playing with the light, with positions, with proportions is so fun and can put such another complexion on things. Unfortunately the past weeks have been very very hectic and therefor we did always shot the past looks in such a short time and I can definitely see it in the quality! Working in a full time job and keeping the blog update every other day while still saving up some quality time with my boyfriend, family and friends is quite a big challenge sometimes. But I won’t complain about it, at least I’m never bored! Anyway, the past weekend I was super motivated to shoot these photos as I have not planed anything for sunday so we had enough time to play around with the camera and the light once again. Love how these picture came out and hope you like it as much as I do! Enjoy your upcoming weekend!
