Here we go! Hello monday morning! Current mood: Sleepy face in front of the computer wishing it is still sunday morning and imagining still cuddling my cozy pillow in my cozy bed and covering myself with my super cozy blanket to hide from the early sunbeams reaching my bedroom. Awake, Michèle, awake! No time for dreaming, daily business calls, time to concentrate! No more time for laziness! Well, as said, here we go…
Well guys, that’s probably my all week monday morning problem and I bet some of you know these feelings, right? It’s not that I don’t like to work – I’d even say I love working, as I love my job – but who doesn’t prefer to get up at 9 or later instead of 5 o’clock? I often get up early at weekends as well but there is always a difference between getting up early because you chose so and getting up early because you have no choice. Fortunately this sleepy monday morning feeling usually holds for only a few hours until I am fully back in the routine and feel 100% reloaded with motivation and energy for the upcoming week.
The fact that I have only one and half week to go until my holidays (don’t blame me, but I still did not book) actually fills my motivation to 150% instead of the normal 100%. Though I have not set any plans I am super excited – may because of this? Howsoever, instead of deepening the talk about my monday morning mood and holiday, let me tell you a few words about this outfit.
When I lately received the skirt, my first thought was “Uhm, alright, don’t I look like a peasant trying to look all chic and trendy?” I must let you know I have been searching for a nice mid length denim skirt for months now, so instead of returning it immediately I went through my closet for quite some time and luckily found a few pieces to match with the skirt and turn it looking not so bad. Within this post I combined it with a Ralph Lauren top that I like so badly for it’s print, color and the softly shimmering material (Yes, it’s perfection!), my all time favorite Dolce&Gabbana Pumps (that were a real sale bargain last winter) as well as the fun clock bag that was a great find in C&A (somehow remembers me of Charlotte Olympia designs). Not to forget the Alfex watch that gave the classy look and youthful and fun twist.
