Happy sunday ladies & gents. Thank you for coming back again and reading these lines. Todays post is a very very very very…. long planed one. Do you remember my posts about three months ago? When I was telling about my the new apartment I moved in? Times flied by quickly and now three month later my flat is finally (almost) fully furnished and picture-ready. So curtain up, here it is, the “Where I live” article which allows everybody of you a little insight in my new home. I guess I don’t need to tell you guys very much more but rather let you enjoy the pictures.
Just in case somebody of you is currently looking for furniture or decor inspiration for their own home, you will find the brands and online shopping destinations of a few pieces visible right underneath the pictures. Luckily during my research of how I want my flat to look like, I came over a webshop called Westwing! The very simple concept of the shop: Every day you will find a handful of new furniture/decor proposals that only last for a few days and are limited in stock. Honestly I bought almost my whole furniture (except the big pieces such as my 4 meter wardrobe and 2.5m shoe closet) through this shop as they offer exclusive pieces for super reduced prices. Those low prices were not the only reason why I get totally obsessed with shopping on Westwing! Actually it were rather the exclusivity of the offered pieces/brands that are often not available in my country. I was very important to me to create something individual, with pieces I wont spot in every other apartment I walk in. So I chose to take a little more money in my hands and invested in hand picked pieces from Westwing and some not yet well known shops instead of heading for crazy furniture shopping at IKEA. I won’t lie, for sure I was picking pieces at IKEA as well but wanted to resist furnishing my whole room with their stuff.
Oh dear, despite I wanted be brief for once, I ended up writing non-stop. Anyway, I hope you will like the pictures and might find a perfect shopping place in Westwing as well. I am still checking their store almost daily always searching for little treasures and decor elements to make my home prettier and prettier. By the way, if you register here! you will receive a starting credit of CHF 15.– as a gift. So what are you waiting for?! Lots of love from Switzerland!
