Drum rolls, drumm rolls! The curtain is up! Since today The Fashion Fraction shines in new splendor after months of brainstorming and scribbling followed by first drafts on the computer, programming and the final result that is the frame of TFF from now on! I could not be more excited and therefor first of all I want to pronounce and big thanks to Claudio for taking over all the programming and generally all the technical work (in which I am definitely not very good at) and having so much patience with fussy me. As a graphic designer I am all over details and can’t live with an incomplete result that features any lacks, it would bother me all the time watching it. But hey, luckily I can’t find any lacks anymore and can finally sleep easy tonight after the past sleepless nights to put the final touches to the new design.
To celebrate the relaunch of The Fashion Fraction today, we teamed up with our favorite luxury brand Hermes to create the perfect photo series matching with the upgraded appearance of the blog. You might remember the snap shot of me together with a beautiful polo horse I shared through Facebook and Instagram in May. Well, this mentioned beauty was my shooting partner for this editorial back then. It is quite of a challenge to work with animals as they have their own will and might don’t want to stand where or how you want them, much less watching into the camera if they should so. As a result, the range of useable photos automatically shrinks – especially as I am not very photogenic myself the range of photos reduces to a minimum. Anyway, at the and I am super lucky and proud about the pictures as they came out almost exactly as I had them in mind since the planning of the shooting months ago. I hope you like them too and looking forward to your feedback to the new design as well as the photo series.
