Last week I have been in the new Showroom of Gant for taking a quick look at the fall/winter 2014 collection. I must admit. that before the visit I wasn’t a really into Gant. Because I always estimated the clothes as more sporty than chic. But after the visit my opinion totally changed in a positive way. There were some pieces which I really felt about taking and running. But let’s start from the beginning.
At thursday last week me and my two friends Joy and Anja were on our way to the showroom near Zurich. After taking some quick snap shots of our outfits (I was wearing my new and incredible aztec print mint colored jacket) we found the place pretty soon (not as last time at Tommy Hilfiger haha). When we came in, I first noticed this fresh scent of wood and at the end I realized, this facilities are totally new. I was approved by the lovely Gant Team which told us that they have moved in just about one month ago into this nice new place. They showed us around and told us all about the stories behind each of the collections. At the end we enjoyed a great apéro with some glasses of prosecco and some yummy little nibbles.
It was not only the clothes which fascinated me, it was also the rooms and how they were furnished. Each and every room had it’s own elegance but in each of them I still felt comfortable. There was one piece of clothing which really caught my attention and that was the blazer I’m wearing in two photos bellow. Actually it’s a men blazer, but I love the androgynous shape and the timeless pattern. There are so many possibilities to wear it. It looks good with skinny jeans and a simple shirt as the blazer itself is eye-catching enough. But it also looks pretty good with an elegant maxi (or mini) dress as a contrast to the femininity. At this line I want go speak out a big thanks to the lovely Gant Team who enabled us this memorable evening.
